7 super-important summer health & beauty tips

Picture
Summer is amazing.

Like, ahhhh-mazing. But summer also comes with downsides...like bug bites + exhaustion from doing all. the. activities! To help you enjoy summer to the fullest and handle its challenges, here are 7 super basic but vitally important summer health & beauty tips!

Hydrate.
Often. Like, super often. No dehydration here!

Sunscreen This.
Arms, legs, face, neck and really any exposed skin. Reapply often.

Bug Spray Up.
Don’t let the bugs bite! Apply a natural bug repellent before walks and hikes and anytime you will be out in the evening.

Moderation Matters.
It’s ok to say no to some get togethers, summer camps + babysitter inquiries. Summer is for having fun, so if you feel stressed out or tired, take a step back.

Cleanse Often.
After long days of exercise and hot weather, our faces can produce a lot of excess oil. Make a point of gently cleansing your face every morning and night, especially in the summer!

Eat Breakfast (+ Lunch & Dinner)
In the middle of the summer busyness, don’t forget to eat a proper breakfast before darting out the door! It will give you the energy you need to stay alive (kinda important).

Summer is for Sleep.
With all the activities going on, it is super easy to stay up late and wake up early all summer long. This isn’t healthy for your body! Go to bed early, wake up at a normal time and take occasional rest breaks. Overdoing it isn’t fun!

Enjoy your summer! Remember - sleep matters, water is your friend, and use sunscreen like it’s your full time job.
Love,
Abbie
