Hello ladies, and welcome back to our blog! Today, I'm super excited to talk to you about skin, following up on B's lovely post a few weeks ago. Trust me, it will be fun. Let's dive in!
While I'm no skincare expert, those in the know suggest that pre-teen girls (ages 9-12) should use a light cleanser and a wet washcloth to wash their face morning and night, and follow it up with a gentle moisturizer. Around the ages of 12-14, girls may wish to use a cleanser specifically designed for oily skin. If they wear makeup, they should also use a makeup remover before bed. Talking to an esthetician (skincare expert) can be helpful if you struggle with more intense acne or have questions about your product routine.
These steps will help you keep your skin healthy and glowing.
- Don't pick at pimples (I know, easier said than done!)
- Don't go to bed with makeup on (ever!)
- Do drink lots of water
- Do wear sunscreen
- Avoid strong soaps that could dehydrate your skin
