8/24/2020 0 Comments Room for relaxationWith back-to-school time just around the corner, many of us are facing crazier schedules, less sleep, and more homework. In the middle of the busy-ness, though, we all need time to relax! Today, I want to share some ideas for making your bedroom into a relaxing escape where you can sleep easier and feel rejuvenated for the new school year. Ready for some ideas?
Candles Battery-operated candles offer soft, gentle glows that will create an instantly relaxing environment for sleeping and resting. Grab some flameless candles and sprinkle them around your room! Pillows & Blankets Nothing says relaxation like a cozy pile of pillows and blankets! Try piling plush goods on your bed to make a warm nest for easier Zzs after a day at school. For an easy DIY pillow, check out B’s post here. Soft Lighting Dim the lights while you start preparing for bed - it tells your body that it’s time to rest. This post is your one-stop-shop for all things lighting! Music Playing nature sounds or instrumental music helps some girls relax and unwind before bed. For others, gentle music can improve concentration when studying. Use your device or find a speaker or CD player to pipe soothing sounds into your room. Scents When it is time to drift off to sleep, place some drops of lavender essential oil onto a washcloth and place it next to your head. Some girls may opt for a diffuser, which softly spreads the scent throughout the room. I hope you enjoyed this post! Love, A
