I absolutely LOOOOVE making, using and gifting sugar scrubs because they make my hands feel super smooth. They are a super simple handmade gift (you know, for when it's Christmas Eve and you're still short a gift or two), they smell amazing and they are practical yet luxurious. Today, I'll be sharing my sugar scrub secrets with you by showing you how to make my favorite sugar scrub recipe. Ready?
1/3 Cup White Sugar
2 Tablespoons of Melted Coconut Oil
This recipe makes 1 very small jar of sugar scrub. You make make a batch as big as you want by multiplying the ingredients.
1. In a bowl, gently stir to combine your sugar and melted coconut oil.
2. Drop in 2-3 drops of essential oil. Some oils that I love to use are peppermint, lavender orange and lemon. I've also made chai tea and chocolate scented scrubs in the past!
3. Create a cute label and put your sugar scrub in a jar or container. You can give it as a gift or keep it for your own use!
