1 Corinthians 12:25

Picture
“That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. - 1 Corinthians‬ ‭12:25 ‭KJV

In this verse, Paul is instructing  followers of Christ to not let “schisms” (a fancy word meaning a split or separation because of opposing beliefs) come between them.

Today, we live in a world divided on so many topics. However, as Christians, we need to be known for our love - not our hate and division. Whoever our parents vote for, whatever we believe, whatever we look like - if we are in Christ, these differences don’t matter and shouldn’t separate us. We should love and care for one another irregardless (yep, it’s a word) of the things that separate us, because we have one overarching thing in common: we are all made and loved by God.

Be caring to everyone around you, even in this crazy election season!
Love,
A
