John 15:13

Yesterday my mom was reading out loud to me the verse John 15:13 and the hymn, What a Friend We Have in Jesus. We are so blessed to have Jesus, who set a wonderful example of being a loving, faithful friend! It made me realize more of what it means to be a true friend. 

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." - John 15:13

"What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forefit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer!"

I hope reading this encourages you to remember that Jesus loves you adn is always here for you, wanting to be your best friend.
